Privacy Policy
Aubel does not collect any personal data. Everything you do in the app stays on your device.
What that means
No accounts. No sign-up, no login, no email field anywhere.
No analytics. No third-party SDKs report your usage to anyone.
No servers. The app never sends your data off your phone.
No tracking. No advertising identifiers, no pixels, no cross-app tracking.
Your data lives on your phone: alarms, interval and scale progress, settings, onboarding answers. Stored locally using iOS app storage. If you delete Aubel, that data is gone with it.
Permissions
Aubel asks for a few iOS permissions to do its job. None of them send data anywhere.
Notifications. Used to fire your alarms and the optional daily practise nudge. Local notifications only.
AlarmKit (iOS 26 and later). Used to schedule alarms that can wake your phone with a full-screen takeover, even during Focus. Apple handles this entirely on device.
Face ID. Used to protect your Screen Time settings inside Aubel so someone else can't disable a Focus restriction without you. Face ID runs in Apple's Secure Enclave. Aubel never sees your face data.
Family Controls and Screen Time. Used for the optional Focus feature, where Aubel can shield specific apps until you finish a training session. Apple's framework keeps the list of apps you select on your device. Aubel has no way to read or transmit it.
Children
Aubel is built for high school and college music students. It collects nothing from anyone of any age.
Third parties
Aubel does not share data with anyone because there is no data to share.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will appear at this URL with an updated effective date.
